Zeus, the king of the gods, the strongest of the strong, is again in pursuit of licentiousness and is in love with Io, the priestess of the temple of Hera. One day, when Zeus and Io were together, Hera, Zeus’ wife and arch goddess, notices the situation and turnes Io into a horned cow and sets a giant guard.
When the giant gets killed by the king’s men, Hera inflicts a fly on Io’s head. When Io runs away from the fly; transcends roads, plains, mountains and even continents, but cannot get away from it.
Finally, it reaches to the edge of a deep valley: As She passes through the valley, the area gets filled with water and a passage connecting the two seas formes. Foros which means passage and boos cow in Greek, comes together and form Bosphorus.
Like the Bosphorus legend that connects the two continents, where the worlds eye on it and has been the subject of myths and epics, Music, which is the most important common language of all humanity, is one of the most important richnes of these lands. With this wealth, Bosphorus Music aims to create the drops of a music ocean connects not only the two continents but the entire world.
